Greensboro, NC (March 10) – Walter Johnson Promotions put on a fan friendly professional boxing card Friday night at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, NC titled “Friday Night KO Fights” and the big guns, Maynard  Allison, Donald Haynesworth, and Noel Echevarria did not miss out on the opportunity as they all delivered impressive performances in front of a raucous, near capacity crowd.

Allison 10-3 (7 KO’s) was making his return to North Carolina, and was looking for his elusive tenth professional win after two disappointing losses in Philadelphia, PA.  Allison put his full set of skills on display battering and beating veteran Andre Baker 10-47 (3 KO’s) for a fifth round TKO.

Donald Haynesworth 14-2-1 (12 KO’s) returned to his winning ways with a monster fourth round KO of Willie Perryman 11-23 (7 KO’s).  Haynesworth, the Hometown favorite from Greensboro, NC, ignited the crowd with his awesome display of power in “Friday Night KO Fights” main event.  Looking to rebound from his December 2017 loss to to Heavyweight contender Bryant Jennings at MSG in New York, Haynesworth is now back on track to make some noise again in the Heavyweight division.

Noel Echevarria 12-6 (7 KO’s) of Winston Salem ended his six fight skid with an impressive sixth round TKO of Solon Staley 1-2 .  Echevarria has faced six of the biggest names in the Super featherweight division.  In succession, Echevarria has faced Emmanuel Gonzalez, Tevin Farmer, Oscar Valdez, Patrick Hyland, Luis Rosa, and Rod Salka.  All are in contention for or hold a title.  After Echevarria’s murderous schedule, he deserved an opponent like Staley.  Echevarria delivered and now will work his way back to contender status.

The Fayetteville, NC sensation Michael Williams Jr used a devastating 150% body attack to improve to 2-0 (2 KO’s)  and earn a first round KO of Mike Smith.
