Durham, North Carolina (April 30) – Christy Martin Promotions has decided to cancel the May 9th “Bull City BeatDown 3” show scheduled at the Durham Armory in Durham, North Carolina. Several factors helped Christy Martin come to this tough decision, but in the end, Martin took the fans into consideration and believed the fans deserved much better than what she would be able to deliver on May 9. Christy Martin Promotions released the following statement:
“Christy Martin Promotions is canceling Bull City Beat Down in Durham May 9. Fighters and fans have come to expect high-quality competition from CMP. We are committed to putting on quality shows for our fans and fighters. Unfortunately, we have had 3 fights with injury’s and are unable to give people what they expect from our promotion. Anyone with tickets will be 100% refunded, contact CMP. Our schedule for June 14 Jacksonville, FL, Aug 17 Charlotte and Sept 6 Jacksonville, FL remains strong.“…Christy Martin
